I made a browser prototyping kit for making app mockups that anyone who can write basic HTML can use.
To make sure that you can record and try out ideas from everyone on your team it’s important to have sketching and prototyping tools that everyone can use. Having tools that help people with little technical knowledge build mockups means more people participate in the design process without having to rely on someone else to interpret their ideas.
I was looking for tools that could help designers and other people who can write some basic HTML to quickly make mockups in the browser. HTML is relatively easy to pick up. You could learn it from a friend over coffee and have enough skill to put together basic websites. If you can make some text and images appear on the page, you should be able to treat them as screens that you can move between with little effort.
Do let us know if you use it. We’d like to know whether there is a need for a tool like that outside of our organisation. Happy prototyping!
