Right now great work is being done in 'fixing the digital basics', but we believe in moving faster. We're working to show how transformative and powerful public services could be to inspire organisations and leaders to accelerate their digital progress.
We’re showing what’s possible - how services could be different, and better.
We have been looking at two projects.
Our end-of-life care project has been making prototypes to show what a collaborative health information system could look like and the products and services it could enable, and how older people in the last phases of life, their carers, clinicians and the wider NHS workforce, would benefit from joined-up, interoperable information and systems.
We're also experimenting with ways to use digital services and tools to encourage basic infrastructural improvements. We've developed a jobs ad checker to help people write better, more structured, more accessible job listings. How we work.
We’re working on ways to show that digital technology can make the later stages in life easier for older people with life-limiting conditions.
