A new CEO for Doteveryone

We’ve been a little quiet on the Doteveryone blog these past few months. That’s mostly because we’ve been busy working on some substantial projects; you’ll see the fruits of those start to emerge in a few weeks.
We’ve also been focusing our objectives and making sure we’ve got the right team in place for the future.
To that end we have an announcement:
Firstly, Russell Davies, currently interim CEO, is going to be leaving that role at the end of the year. He’s helped us narrow down our objectives and focus on a few core projects, he’s also helped work out how we should structure ourselves from now on. Russell has been a fantastic leader for the team — I thank him so much for helping us complete some complex things and get clarity about the future. And he’s not leaving us entirely, he’ll stay involved as an advisor.
Russell is going to be succeeded as CEO from November 1st by Rachel Coldicutt, currently our Director of Products and Services. I am absolutely delighted that she is moving to be CEO. Anyone who knows Rachel will already know she has an unusual and brilliant brain, I am very happy that now more people will also get to see it in action.
Rachel will work in partnership with a Managing Director, who we’re going to start recruiting now. I’ve seen that model work incredibly well in other organisations that marry the strategic and creative with the ‘commercial’. I think it will work extremely well for us.
We will be advertising the MD role shortly. Keep an eye on this blog for more.
